How to Iron Your Percale Cotton Bedsheets at Home?

Ironing percale cotton bedsheets may seem like a tedious task, but I promise, with the right technique, it’s incredibly rewarding. When I first started curating bedding for The Label Home, I wanted to offer sheets that not only feel amazing but look pristine. Percale cotton, with its crisp and cool texture, deserves that extra attention to detail.

Here’s how to get perfectly ironed percale cotton sheets:

  • Iron While Damp: For best results, iron your sheets while they are still slightly damp from the wash. This makes them easier to press and gives them that crisp finish.
  • Medium Heat Setting: Set your iron to medium-high heat and use the steam function for those tough wrinkles.
  • Iron in Sections: Start with the edges and work your way toward the center, smoothing as you go. Iron both sides for a professional look.
  • Focus on Corners: Don’t forget the corners and seams—these small details make a big difference.

I find that freshly ironed percale sheets give my bed an elegant, luxurious feel. At The Label Home, we want you to experience that same crisp, fresh look every time you slip into bed.

Much Love & Happy Homing :)
